Weirton High School finally broke Follansbee’s winning streak. Both teams were undefeated going into the game. Follansbee was leading 6-0 and headed for another score on the Weirton 20 yard line. But the Blue Wave fumbled the ball and Weirton ran it all the way back for a Red Rider touchdown. Weirton went on to victory 12-6.
